How it works

One thread, from craving to doorstep.

There are two sides to WhatsChow and both of them fit in a chat window. Customers never leave WhatsApp. Kitchens can work from WhatsApp too, and open the dashboard when they want the full picture.

Side one · Customers

Six beats, and none of them is a form

01

You say hello

First message gets a short welcome menu — ten shortcuts, plain numbers, no walls of text.

02

You say what you want

Type it, tap a number, or send a voice note. Location can be shared as a WhatsApp pin instead of an address.

03

It shortlists kitchens

Only vendors that are open, approved and inside delivery range. Prices come from their live menu, never invented.

04

You confirm the summary

Items, delivery fee and grand total in one bubble. Reply YES and the order is created.

05

You pay in the thread

A secure checkout link arrives immediately. Card, transfer or USSD — whatever you normally use.

06

The kitchen is dispatched

Payment clears, the vendor is pinged, and status changes come back to your chat until it is delivered.

The actual welcome menu

Your very first message gets these ten shortcuts. Reply with the number — or ignore them entirely and just say what you want.

Message

Voice notes are transcribed and treated like typed messages — useful when your hands are full or typing is stress.

Your phone is the point of sale

When an order lands, you get a WhatsApp message with the ticket. Reply with a single digit to move it along. The customer is notified at every step without you typing a word to them.

How payment actually moves

Nothing gets cooked on trust. An order stays unpaid until the gateway says otherwise, and the confirmation is verified cryptographically before a single naira is counted.

01

Link issued

The order is held as unpaid and a checkout link is raised against a reference unique to it.

02

Customer pays

Card, bank transfer or USSD. If one payment route is having a bad day, another takes over automatically.

03

Payment verified

Nothing is marked paid on a customer’s word or a redirect alone. The confirmation is cryptographically checked first.

04

Everyone told

The customer gets a receipt in the chat, the kitchen gets the ticket, and a confirmation email follows.

Questions

The things people ask first

Still stuck? Message support@whatschow.com and a person will answer.

No. The entire customer experience happens inside WhatsApp — no app, no account, no password. Kitchens and administrators are the only people who sign in to a dashboard.
